The Aurora is a breathtaking natural spectacle created when charged particles from the Sun interact with gases in Earth’s atmosphere. These collisions light up the night sky with vivid colors, including striking shades of green, pink, red and blue. Typically visible near the Earth’s poles, this stunning phenomenon is called the aurora borealis in the Northern Hemisphere and the aurora australis in the Southern Hemisphere.
This page showcases my collection of Aurora Borealis photographs, first captured during my inaugural visit to Iceland in 2019. The journey continued with 'unique' displays witnessed in the Norwegian Sea during a marine research expedition in 2022, and later, in the picturesque city of Bergen in 2024.
