Mount Prest (1,363 m) 📍 rises above the Aurlandsfjord, a branch of Norway’s vast Sognefjord, offering one of the most celebrated viewpoints in the country. From its slopes and summit, you can see deep blue fjord waters winding between sheer cliffs, with snow-capped peaks stretching to the horizon. The lower part of the mountain is home to the Stegastein viewpoint, a modern platform that juts dramatically out over the fjord, giving visitors the sensation of floating in the air.
