Hamnøy 📍 is a tiny fishing village on the island of Moskenesøya in the Lofoten archipelago, famed for its iconic red rorbuer cabins set against a backdrop of jagged peaks and icy fjords. In winter, snow blankets the rooftops and mountains, while the Arctic light, soft at midday, golden at sunrise, or deep blue in the polar night, casts a magical glow over the scene. Easily reached via a photogenic bridge on the E10 road, Hamnøy offers one of the most celebrated views in Norway.
