'Landscape & Local Story'

Osterfjord 📍 is a striking 27-kilometer-long fjord in Vestland County, Norway, stretching inland from the city of Bergen. Surrounded by steep green hills and dotted with small farms and fishing hamlets, the fjord is known for its peaceful waters and its connection to several narrower branches, including the dramatic Mostraumen strait. In winter, the surrounding slopes often carry a dusting of snow, contrasting with the deep blue water, while in summer the fjord reflects the lush greenery of the season.
